Nobody's Perfect est l'histoire de rencontres successives... Rencontres entre des musiciens qui poursuivent une meme idee de la musique et de ce a quoi ressemblerait le morceau ultime et parfait. Rencontre entre un compositeur et l'auteur qui lui ressemble.

Sur les conseils et l'envie de son complice des debuts, son auteur attitre, Floyd entreprend de travailler sur un projet de musique alliant electronique et instruments acoustiques, album concept dont la composition doit rester profondement melodique, et dont les textes volontairement epures s'articulent autour de deux personnages centraux : une jeune artiste et son pygmalion.

Le point de depart et le fil conducteur du projet, consistait a creer la bande-originale d'un film imaginaire, en rendant hommage aux grands compositeurs de musique de films (l'un des titres emprunte d'ailleurs 'Lujon' de l'immense Henry Mancini), en conservant neanmoins la simplicite et l'epure d'une musique populaire, tres melodique, entre la simplicite des tubes electro-pop des annees 70-80 et le rock visionnaire de groupes comme ARCHIVE, que les membres du groupe ne se lassent pas d'admirer.
Plus tard et quelques maquettes sous le bras, et apres avoir force la porte de quelques majors, interessees, a l'ecoute et sous le charme mais engoncees dans leur logique de rentabilite immediate, Nobody's Perfect rencontre coup sur coup: un editeur a l'ecoute et un batteur dans le coup!

La rencontre avec l'editeur (Faune Music) leur permettra notamment de figurer sur des compilations electroniques, de produire 6 titres en studio, et de presenter Marco a Floyd, qui devient le batteur de Nobody's Perfect et qui n'a pas cesse depuis de participer a elaborer, affiner et preciser le son Nobody's Perfect.

Nobody's Perfect est ainsi un collectif en constante mutation... Floyd, Marco, T-burce et d'autres ont participe a son evolution, mais pas seulement: il etait important aux yeux des membres du collectif, d'insuffler au projet le souffle creatif d'artistes venus d'autres horizons. On retrouve ainsi dans les morceaux de Nobody's Perfect, la voix tres caracteristique, cristalline et venue d'ailleurs d'Emily Loizeau, et Francois Even, complice de Floyd sur d'autres projets, ancien bassiste de Rachid Taha et membre de Superbus, participe egalement au projet.

Beaucoup ont ete seduits par la musicalite du groupe et sa capacite a faire naitre des images dans le cerveau des auditeurs... Nous esperons que vous ferez partie de ce film imaginaire, qui continue de s'ecrire chaque jour...

Nobodys Perfect is the story of successive meetings. Meetings between musicians who have the same idea of music and the same idea of what would be the perfect ultimate music. Meetings between a composer and an author who resembles him.

In 2003, with the advice and the desire of his everlasting accomplice and author, Floyd started working on a musical project which allied electronics and unplugged instruments. This was the start of a concept album in which the composition should be deeply melodic. And in which the lyrics, voluntarily refined, are articulated around two central people, a young artist and her "Pygmalion".

The starting point and the thread of the project consisted in creating the original soundtrack of an imaginary movie, while paying a tribute to the great composers of movie soundtracks (one of the songs borrows Lujon from Henry Mancini), while preserving the simplicity of pop music, very melodic, between the simplicity of the electro-pop hits from the 70's and 80's and the visionary rock from bands like Archive, that the members of the band never stop admiring.

Later on, and with various models, after forcing their way into some major music companies, which seemed to be interested, listening and under the spell but locked in their logic of immediate profitability, Nobodys perfect met one after the other a listening editor and a drummer.

The meeting with the editor, (Faune Music), enabled them to have their music on electronic compilations and to produce 6 titles in studio. Floyd met Marco who became the drummer of Nobodys perfect and who never stopped participating in elaborating, improving and singularizing the sound of Nobodys perfect.

Nobodys Perfect is a moving-forward co-operative. Floyd, Marco, T-Burce and others have participated in its evolution. Nevertheless it was also important for the members of the band to give the project a creative breath of artists coming from different horizons. In Nobodys Perferct pieces can be found the voice of Emily Loizeau, crystal-clear and coming from somewhere else. François Even, Floyds accomplice on other projects (Mr Freak), and brilliant bass guitarist of Rachid Taha and Superbus takes part in the project as well.

A large number of people have been seduced by the musicality of the group and their capacity to create images in the listeners heads. We hope that you will be part of this imaginary movie, which keeps on being written every day...
